I am happy to announce the Eretrandre Mathematics Forum.
It is intended as a platform for people having unusual (whether developed or not so developed, whether their own or dug out) mathematical ideas.
"Mathematical" in the sense that solutions can mainly be (if possible at all) achieved by pure thinking instead of relying on real world particularities.
The aim is to make those precious little gems public, but also to sort out the faulty gems, or to grind the raw gems to beauty, by our community.
At the current state everything looks quite empty,
but dont be shy to post your ideas here, it can not much go wrong.
If your exposition is a bit longer or you already prepared it as a document (preferably pdf), I encourage you to upload it by making an attachement.
There is also the possiblity to write wiki-articles and link to them but I am currently not sure whether articles without unique authors are appropriate for our platform. The other possibility would be a kind of publishing system (for example wordpress). If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them in the "Problems & Suggestions" sub-forum.
For shorter texts which includes formulas, I am happy to announce that this board is TeX enabled. You can use the tex tag to show formulas in your text. If you are new to LaTeX or to the particular MyBB/PHPBB code, take a look into the help pages (at the right top).
