[MO] something practical on Riemann-mapping Gottfried Ultimate Fellow Posts: 768 Threads: 120 Joined: Aug 2007 01/05/2015, 02:33 PM (This post was last modified: 01/05/2015, 02:34 PM by Gottfried.) I just stepped over this thread in "mathoverflow" (MO) which asks for practical implementation of the Riemann-mapping theorem. Possibly some valuable comments and hints; an interesting link to an exemplaric implementation ("zipper", see below) and very likely waiting for more input from the practical side (thus possibly by some experienced member here - I myself are still not familiar with it) see : http://mathoverflow.net/questions/191529...perellipse the link to the "zipper"-software & examples: https://www.math.washington.edu/~marshall/zipper.html And even more: happy new year to all! :-) - Gottfried Gottfried Helms, Kassel « Next Oldest | Next Newest »
