Dear users, this forum is LaTeX enabled, a major advancement for writing formulas than discussing everything in ASCII as is necessary in newsgroups. You can put formulas into your postings as in the following example: Code:$$x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$$ yields $x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$ For a list of the LaTeX possibilities, see the mimetex tutorial. Note however that mimetex does not support all LaTeX commands. edgar Newbie Posts: 1 Threads: 0 Joined: Aug 2007 08/09/2007, 01:06 PM Unlike some other forum I remember, you even see your TeX in the preview. $\int_0^\infty e^{-x^2}\,dx$ So you can fix your mistakes before actually posting it.
