Hmm, Andrew, I just see at your site, that this contradicts to one of your identities. You say , at "integer values" (translated to ascii-notation)

{b,a}^^oo = b^^oo

to which my above definition is then in contradiction.

On the other hand, saying "tetration means: appending bases" is also more consistent with the right-to-left-evaluation rule...
