 almost periodic musing tommy1729 Ultimate Fellow Posts: 1,370 Threads: 335 Joined: Feb 2009 06/16/2014, 12:24 PM Consider the polynomial f_n(x) = x^n + a1 x^(n-1) + a2 x^(n-2) + ... Now solve f_n(x+1) = f_n(x) without solving for the x^(n-1) term. This musing was inspiring. regards tommy1729 tommy1729 Ultimate Fellow Posts: 1,370 Threads: 335 Joined: Feb 2009 06/17/2014, 12:24 PM Gottfried ?? :p « Next Oldest | Next Newest »
