[MO] something practical on Riemann-mapping - Gottfried - 01/05/2015

I just stepped over this thread in "mathoverflow" (MO) which asks for practical implementation of the Riemann-mapping theorem. Possibly some valuable comments and hints; an interesting link to an exemplaric implementation ("zipper", see below) and very likely waiting for more input from the practical side (thus possibly by some experienced member here - I myself are still not familiar with it)

see : http://mathoverflow.net/questions/191529/complex-function-for-mapping-a-circle-to-a-superellipse

And even more: happy new year to all! :-) -
