I started using bicomplex numbers instead of complex Numbers.
The reason is that for most complex Numbers , continue iterations result in loops.
We use as norm for the bicomplex numbers the complex Numbers.
For instance :
Avoid a fixpoint for x^2 , start with complex norm 1.
J^2 = 1.
We use (1/3 + 2/3 j)^2 = 5/9 + 4/9 j.
Thus not a fixpoint !
But both lhs and rhs has norm 1.
This is powerful.
