Cellular auto : rule 30 number ? tommy1729 Ultimate Fellow Posts: 1,505 Threads: 358 Joined: Feb 2009 08/03/2016, 08:31 PM (This post was last modified: 08/03/2016, 08:39 PM by tommy1729.) consider rule 30 starting from a single black cell. Clearly from left to right there is convergeance to a number in the sense that If the pattern of black and white is considered as the binary expansion after the binary dot. We then get a number T such that 1/2 < T < 1. Can this number be given by calculus ? Or by dynamics ? Regards Tommy1729 « Next Oldest | Next Newest »
