 a limit curiosity ? Pi/2 tommy1729 Ultimate Fellow Posts: 1,421 Threads: 346 Joined: Feb 2009 08/07/2012, 09:27 PM (This post was last modified: 08/07/2012, 09:42 PM by tommy1729.) It seems lim x -> +oo sum( (-1)^i * x^(2*i-1)/( factorial(2*i)*ln(2*i) ) , i = 1 .. oo) +(1/2)*Pi = 0 or in tex $-\pi/2 = \frac{lim} {x -> +oo} \sum_{i=1}^{\infty} \frac {(-1)^i x^{2i - 1}} {(2i)! ln(2i)}$ how to prove it ? regards tommy1729 « Next Oldest | Next Newest »
