 [2014] " statistical dynamics " tommy1729 Ultimate Fellow Posts: 1,455 Threads: 350 Joined: Feb 2009 08/31/2014, 11:53 PM I was thinking about " a best fit " for half-iterates of an entire function. Most entire functions have many fixpoints and the half-iterate cannot agree on all fixpoints. However there might be a " best fit " solution. Least squares and similar ideas cross my mind.
