[MSE]root expressions and sine

mick has posted a fun question on MSE.

Kinda galoi-ish ... galoisisch euh like about radicals.

More or less about roots of positive quantities and roots of unity.

Fun fact : self-reference is possible ; expressing functions values in terms of themselves.

ok in principle that is not allowed.

but the minimal polynomial can be turned into a fixpoint equation and those can often be given by radicals.

posted on MO too now apparantly.

I have been told there are close voters.

One wrote a comment.

Despite that +1 score at the moment.

weird imo.
Yet I am not surprised.

I hope it stays there.
